I surrender it all to you, Lord….

You see friends, we are called to steward every good thing given to us with the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, not on our own. The stewardship would look different. Jesus calls us to mundane work.

Did you know our homes are entrusted to us?
2 Timothy 1:14 says “By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.”
With that being said, we see that God tells us that we are to steward what He deposits into our lives with the power of the Holy Spirit. He is clearly talking only to His children, because those are the only ones that have the spirit dwelling in them.
What would our stewardship look like without the Holy Spirit? - wrecked!

How is your relationship with the Lord?

You see, if you are communicating with Him on a daily (even hourly) basis, you are stewarding this gift well - you are talking to God and coming to Him, laying it all down. Making sure that we are praying for the Lord's will be done is most important, because we don't want to be praying for things or about things that go against the word of God. We are also told model after model of ways to pray in the bible. I am not implying there is an incorrect way to pray, but God's word gives us multiple examples. Lets take a look, and use these prayers as ways to steward the gift of prayer for all the things the mighty God has entrusted us with.”

Are you letting yourself engage in "lowercase Gods?"

-What do I mean by that?

Idolatry my friends is a HARD struggle for believers.

We KNOW that God is the only God and we know we are called to worship only Him. So why do we let false Gods come before Him? “You shall have no other gods before me." - Exodus 20:3

Growth can be uncomfortable. I just have to stop and ask though, what is worth having doesn’t involve growth or being uncomfortable sometimes?

Growth is hard, but God is good.
